About

My name is Liz Carter. I live in Telford with my husband Tim who is a Pioneer Minister in the Church of England, and our two children. I like to blog because I like writing, and it is supposedly helping me write my book, which seems to be taking several eternities to complete.

I write on the subjects of disability, chronic illness, injustice, faith and occasionally general silliness. I have a rare lung disease called bronchiectasis which is incurable and progressive. It shapes a lot of how I am and what I believe about life.

I'm passionate about Jesus and the hope that he brings, and love to share stories about transformed lives.

I'm unable to work in paid employment due to my disease, and a lot of days I am housebound, which gives me a lot of opportunity to play silly games on Facebook interact through social media and stay in touch with friends around the world.
